Lloyd was born on September 26, 1942 to Alpheus Nathanel Benedict and Hazel Gertrude (Milledge) Benedict in Battle Creek, Michigan. He passed away on January 11, 2018 in Dimondale, Michigan.
An Army veteran, Lloyd was retired from Oldsmobile after 37 years of service. He loved to bowl, play cribbage, research family history and take R.V. trips.
Preceded in death by his parents and half-brother, Zane Benedict, Lloyd is survived by his wife, Joan (Reed) Benedict; son, Reed Christian Benedict “Adalberto Morales” and half-sister, Elaine (Higdon) “Rodney” Russell and family.
Visitation at Gorsline Runciman East Chapel, 1730 E. Grand River, East Lansing, Saturday 2-4 p.m. Private graveside service will be held at Glendale Cemetery in Okemos.
