Born January 22, 1932 in Flint, Michigan to David and Rachel Snyder, passed away on October 30, 2012. Margaret was a 1950 graduate of Flint Northern High School. She married Paul Wolter in 1955. Margaret retired after 30 years of service with Michigan Bell as a Telephone Operator. She was a member of T.O.P.S. – Haslett and a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Parish since 1979. Margaret loved to travel with her friends.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Paul in 1995 and sisters, Patricia Hoholik, Mary Scott and Bernadine Callahan. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela (Aaron) Baker; grandchildren, Bradley Wolter and Dustin Baker; brother, Hilary (Barbara) Snyder and many nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 3, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 955 Alton Rd, East Lansing, with the Rev. Mark Inglot, officiating. The family will receive friends at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 E. Grand Rive Ave., East Lansing on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The family will also receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
