Born on August 12, 1929 to parents William Altvater and Helen Argersnger in St. Johns, MI. Marjory was married to her late husband William “Bill” Haas for a number of years until he passed in 2001.
She attended cosmetology school, becoming a licensed beautician and eventually owning a beauty shop for a short time. Marge worked at GM as a press operator for 30 years as well.
Marge was a member of the Oldsmobile Bowling League, as well as many bowling leagues in Florida. She loved going to Florida during the winters. She was known to partake in the senior activities, such as bingo, shuffleboard, and the dog races. She also could not resist taking care of and spoiling her dog “Chloe.” She really enjoyed her grandchildren, watching them play in the swimming pool in the backyard.
Marjory is survived by many family members who will miss her dearly and will remember her fondly.
