Marta,
Of all the memories I have of our time together, I want to express how grateful to you I am for something you may not have known you did. In our interactions, and in your interactions with anyone, your face lit up. It was your love and deep affection on display. You made everyone feel special, and it was wonderful. Your eager interest in everyone and everything was a joy to witness. I am grateful for the time I was able to spend with you at MSU, and I will truly miss you; I will truly miss your presence.
From Matthew 5:16: "In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." You, most certainly, let your light shine bright. Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and heart; and thank you for sharing it with all of us!

I met Marta over 20 years ago as a sales representative for King & Prince Seafood. K&P's president was a Spartan and developed a long standing relationship with Peter and Marta that continues to this day. We believe in service and participate in MSU's guest speaker program for the food and hospitality department every year. Marta was instrumental in facilitating this with us.

I always looked forward to my drive to East Lansing to meet with Marta and give updates on the seafood industry. She had such a kind spirit and a passion for her work. I will always remember her bright smile and warm greeting. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends.

Marta,

A strong passionate leader everyone loved. You genuinely cared for every person. Every time I was ill over the last twenty years a card would arrive in the mail from you and the entire food stores team. I enjoyed every minute you were with us in Retail. She was a calming professional gift to me. A Servent Leader to all. Marta rest peacefully knowing you were MSU every second! Your MSU family is going to cherish your time with us for the rest of our days.

Thank you for giving your all to all of us.

Marta, I don’t have words to express how much you meant to me. Since I was 21 years old you’ve been a mentor, parent figure, boss, but mostly and always a friend. A TRUE friend. You were always generous with your time and friendship. I will ALWAYS cherish the significant part you played in my life and will miss you so much it hurts. God bless your beautiful soul and Rest In Peace.

I will miss her more than I ever thought for. I truly learned so much from her. She was"green and white" through and through. All the way past the end. I take joy in knowing she is not truly gone until all she had touched is gone. May God hold her sister, brother in law, other family, freinds and the many who looked up to her, in His handx.
