Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at her residence. Mary was born in Chicago but also spent a great deal of her life in California where she worked as a draftswoman in the aerospace industry. She also worked as a Department Manager at Robinson’s Department Store. Mary attended the University of Illinois and the University of Minnesota, graduating with a degree in Fine Arts. She was a member of the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. Mary loved watching tennis on TV, spending time with her pets, as well as reading mystery novels.
Mary was preceded in death by her husbands: Morey Eggleston, James Nycum and William Jackson, as well as her Aunt Pat and Uncle Frederick Thomas. Surviving is her loving daughter, Carla Westwood. Mary’s gentle smile, humor and optimistic spirit will be sorely missed.
