Mary Katherine Karon

East Lansing

Born September 9, 1923 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada the daughter of Percy and Frances (MacLeod) Mossop. She passed away February 11, 2011 in Lansing at the age of 87. Mary was a kind, gentle woman who cared deeply for others. She enjoyed reading books, especially murder mysteries, enjoyed plays, cats and dogs and riding around the golf course. She was a very devoted MSU football and basketball fan, and being a transplanted Canadian, loved a good game of hockey. She was very supportive and involved in her husband’s psychotherapy practice as well. Family was very important to Mary. She fiercely protected her husband and three boys and would move heaven and earth for them. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Bertram, 3 sons, Brent (Jean) Armstrong, Blake (Holly) Armstrong and Jonathan (Kimberly Zellman) Karon and very close cousin, Doug White.
