Mary Joyce's husband, Bob, was a deep friend and colleague for many years and even after he was gone my wife, Donna, and I met Mary Joyce downtown to celebrate Silver Bells and other events together. She was always wonderful to be with. Now all three of them are gone, but I'm confident that one day I'll be with them to talk about, and laugh about, state politics, MSU, Kansas and all the other most important topics. God bless her.
