Maxine Marie White Hall

Haslett, MI

Died November 25, 2012 at the age of 83. Maxine was born September 15, 1929 in Clay County, W.VA. , to William and Mamie (Morris) White. She owned and operated the M-78 Truck Stop until the late 60’s with her husband, James and also retired from the Ingham County Medical Care Facility after many years. She was an active member of the House of Prayer in Haslett and especially loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Hall in 1984, sons Sherman and James Hall and brothers, Ernest and Joe White. Surviving are her sons, William (Pam) Hall and Dale Hall; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and sisters, Mae (Larry) Akers and Gertrude Harrah.

The family will receive friends at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 East Grand River Avenue, East Lansing, Wednesday, November 28, 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The funeral service will be held Thursday, November 29, noon at the funeral home with Rev. David Cokonougher officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Cemetery, Bath, MI.
