Age 100, died February 3, 2015. She was born July 13, 1914.
Maxine was a charter member of Okemos Community Church, part of the Lady’s Circle and a member of the Pioneers of Okemos. She retired from the D&C store in Brookfield Plaza after 17 years. She loved and cared for her family very much.
She is preceded in death by her parents; spouse Floyd, son William Kester; grandchild Nicholas Hitchcock; brother Maynard Unruh; and sisters Katherine Kaiser and Evelyn McNabb.
Surviving is son Dennis (Marsha) Kester of Ypsilanti, daughters Susan (Dell) Mulholland of Greenville, and Sharon (Craig) Hitchcock of Williamston; nine grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 11:00 at Okemos Community Church, 4734 Okemos, MI 48864 with visitation one hour prior.
