Michael was a resident of New York for 14 years and attended New York University where he earned a degree in Finance, and a minor in Public Health. He moved to East Lansing in the spring of 2024 to be near his family.
Michael was predeceased by his father, Jim Hagan, and his younger sister, Courtney A. Hagan. Michael is survived by his husband, Matheus Belo; his mother, Mary Anne Hagan; and three brothers, Matt (Heather), Brian (Courtney), and Kevin (Kellie). Michael's nieces and nephews, Zoe, Lexi, Austin, Carter, Jackson, Callie, Bentley, Gemma, Khloe and Kamden will remember their Uncle Michael fondly. Michael's Auntie Marcy (Carrigan) will share a broken heart with the entire family.
Michael will always be remembered for his kindness, compassion, and non-judgmental persona.
