Michael James Jones of Lansing, MI passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 in his Lansing apartment. Michael is survived by his mother, Frances Jones Brogan; sister, Kaitlyn Brogan; father, Edward Katzback; stepfather Patrick Brogan and grandmother Marcella Jones. Michael’s extended family includes many aunts, uncles and cousins in Michigan, Florida, Texas Illinois and Madrid, Spain.
He enjoyed music and movies, was an avid MSU football and basketball fan, a reader of science fiction and loved video games and tennis. He will be dearly missed by all for his sense of humor and good natured laughter.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 26, 10:00 am at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 955 Alton Rd, East Lansing.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice in memory of Michael.
