Mildred Louise Burns

Mildred Louise (Osburn) Burns, of Clearwater, FL, formerly of Lansing, MI, passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at the age of 87. She was born October 29, 1925 in Owosso, MI, the daughter of William (Bill) and Mildred (Beebe) Osburn. She was preceeded in death by her parents. Mildred will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother by her survivors, 4 generations; her husband Raymond Davis Burns, twin sister Martha Penning, daughter Candis Burns; son Raymond (Bill) Burns and his wife June; 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Eastern Star of Perry, Michigan, a Sparrow Hospital Volunteer while living in Lansing, a Real Estate agent while living in Farmington Hills and an avid bridge player. Her greatest pleasure was entertaining and spending time with her family.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, November 26, 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 1730 E. Grand River Avenue, East Lansing, MI 48823. Interment will take place following the funeral service at Rose Lawn Cemetery, Perry, MI.
