There are no words to express what a wonderful father, teacher and mentor you have always been to me. I still cannot imagine that life goes on without you but that is your legacy to me - never quit. From the time I was a small child I always heard these words from you "when the going gets tough, the tough get going." This is tough; so I will carry on with all the wisdom and love you imparted, grateful for the wonderful gift you have been in my life.

Neil has been coming to Grand Marais, MI for nearly 50 years. I have gotten to know him over the years and will miss the positive interactions. My life has been richer knowing Neil as well as all those around him. In honor of Neil, I'll include a photo of one of his favorite beaches. My deepest condolences to the Snepp family.

Your dad was one of my Christian rocks as I grew in my faith at UCC. Later, when my sons became interested in all things dinosaur, I got to see another fascinating side of your father. He sure was lucky to have two wonderful women in his life, as we were all lucky to have known him (from one of Elwyn/Mildred's girls)

To the family of Neil Snepp, I send my sincere condolence. I have known him for many years and worked with him at the Okemos Masonic Center on the chicken dinners. He was the potato masher and I was one of the biscuit makers. One time I found one of my biscuits in a display of his "rock displays" at the Masonic Center where they were holding a meeting. What a great humorous man he was. We will all miss him.

Dear Norma and all Neil's family,

It was wonderful reading Neil's obituary and appreciateing the great guy he was, and the very productive and active life he had. He should have been twins to have accomplished all he has accomplished. I loved Connie and have missed her, and I dearly love you Norma and my thoughts and prayers are with you today and always. I wish Hank was still here so we could be at the service on Saturday, but I know it will take place with much love and honor for Neil. And I am grateful you both have been in our lives, and you still are.
Lots of love and prayers from the Hank and Betsy Bowers Family
