Raymond W. Hinz

Went home to his Lord, Monday October 4, 2010 surrounded by his loving family. Born July 10, 1921 in Detroit, Michigan. Raymond’s joy in life was spending time with his family, the study of Catholic Theology and Philosophy. Raymond was preceded in death by his loving wife Barbara (little one), his parents Raymond and Evelyn Hinz and brother, Bob Hinz. Raymond was the loving father of Teresa (Ron) Panetta, Joseph (Linda) Hinz, Peter (Sandy) Hinz, Maria (David) Dibble, Anne (Kevin) Hoey, Elizabeth (Rick) Couturier, and Susan (Grant) Gartrell; grandchildren, Sean, Nick, Ryan, Ashley, Christopher, Eric, Holly, Amy, Eve, Shannon, Dustin, Caitlin, Shane, Spencer, Anne, Elizabeth, Aidan and Ronan; sisters-in-law Ann Rohr, Shirley Hinz and Dorothy Hinz; and many loving nieces and nephews. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday October 9, 2010 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 955 Alton Road, East Lansing at 9:00 a.m. with the Rev. Mark Inglot, officiating. The Rite of Committal will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Lansing. The family will receive friends at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 E.
