

He went to East Lansing High School and then joined the United States Army. After being honorably discharged, he worked for GM until he retired.
He had a passion for drawing, planting and gardening, and helping others. He was known for his veteran’s hat, fanny pack, sweat pants, and sense of humor.
Roberto was preceded in death by his father, Arturo; uncle, Roberto; grandson, TJ Brown; and his twin sons.
He is survived by his four daughters, Maylynn (Terry) Scarborough, Celestina Wahrmann, Alicia Rosas and Marianna Kalis; girlfriend, Donna Dickinson Brook; mother, Beatrice; brothers, Arturo Jr., Louie (Maria) Rosas, Manuel (Rosemary) Rosas, Armando (Renee) Rosas; sister, Juanita (Craig) Meister and Maria (Ed) Glanz; grandkids, Sammy Brown, Tayler Scarborough, Joshua Mireles and Hailee Mireles; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation at Gorsline Runciman East Chapel, 1730 E. Grand River Ave., East Lansing, Monday, March 9 from 10 a.m. until memorial service at 11 a.m.
Committal service with military honors will follow at East Lawn Memory Gardens in Okemos.
