Rose Fisher was born February 2, 1941 to Adolph and Theresa Buettner in New Hope, PA. She graduated from New Hope-Solebury High School in 1959. On August 11, 1962, she married David Fisher and they had one son, Brett. Rose moved to Mt. Pleasant, MI in 1966 and first worked for the Isabella Bank and retired in 1999 as Office Supervisor in the Psychology Dept. at Central Michigan University. Rose loved to travel the world and the 50 states. She was a master gardener and belonged to the Evening Bloomer’s and the Mt. Pleasant Garden Clubs. She volunteered at McLaren Central Hospital and the Art Reach Gift shop and gallery. She played bridge with the CMU women and other groups and enjoyed the performing arts. She was predeceased by her parents Adolph and Theresa Buettner, Sister Elsie Applegate, brother Albert and sister-in-law Lucille, nephew David Buettner, her husband of 30 years David Fisher, and companion Ronald PreFontaine. Rose is survived by son Brett Fisher and wife Kim, sister Helen Zaveta, niece Lisa Mayeda and husband Andy and son Daniel, niece Laurie Zivkovich and husband Dan, nephew Richard Zaveta and wife Madeline.
There will be a memorial service at a later date with respect to Covid-19 restrictions and health considerations for all.
