She was a resident of Haslett, but was born in Kingstree South Carolina in 1940.
Sarah married Lawrence Wight on February 12, 1959.
Miss-Sarah, as she was known, is survived by her husband, Lawrence, her children
Brenda Yoder, Michael Wight (Heather) and Stephen Wight. Her grandchildren Stacie (Eric)
Shaner, Stephen Wight Ponke, Brittany (Jeremy) McCormick and Matthew Yoder, as well as
one great grandson, Mason Shaner.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Ronald Lyon and Bobby Cantley, and her
son - in -law Thomas Yoder.
A private burial is to take place at Spencer Cemetary in Crystal Twp. Michigan. A memorial service
will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Victory Junction Gang Camp, at
VictoryJunction.org in her name.
