Scott Hayward Reed

Spokane, WA

Age 58 died July 29, 2011 in Belding, MI. Scott was formerly of East Lansing. He was born March 11, 1953 in Seneca Falls, NY; graduated from East Lansing High School in 1971 and received his B.A. Degree from MSU in Hotel Restaurant and Institutional Management in 1976. He worked for Sodexho Marriott Services as a District Manager in Health Care Services for 25 years. Scott loved to play hockey, golf and ski. He was an avid MSU sports fan, especially of basketball, football and hockey. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Charles F. Reed, DVM and Christine B. Reed. Surviving are his children Sara Christine, Stanley Scott, their mother Sharon, and sister Nancy Olivia. A celebration of Scott’s life will take place Saturday, November 12, 11:00 a.m. at the Peoples Church, 200 W. Grand River Avenue., East Lansing with the Rev. Penelope Swartz officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Peoples Church or The Association for Frontotemporal Dementias (AFTD) Radnor Station, Building #2, Suite 320, 290 King of Prussia Road, Radnor, PA, 19087.
