Terry J. Pierce

Terry J Pierce was born in Lansing, MI on November 4, 1937. After a long illness he went to be with the Lord on May 4, 2017. Heaven has gained a true gentleman. He is pain free and making beautiful music. We will miss him and his comforting hugs. He’s looking forward to seeing us all in heaven. He graduated from Owosso Bible School. Terry worked for the Meridian Township Fire Department. Some will know him as an excellent automotive mechanic. Before retirement he was a “Culligan Man”.Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Erven and Emma Pierce, and his special mother-in-law, Mary Bell. He is survived by his wife Mary; children, Jason (Tina) Pierce, Tracy (Allison) Pierce, Tim (Leann) McKeever and Tina McKeever; precious grandchildren, Emily Belle Pierce, Claire Renee Pierce, Tyler James Pierce, Adrian Trevor McKeever and Cordell Devon McKeever. He is also survived by his brother Dan (Norma) Pierce and sisters, Sherry Powers and Renee (Mark) Olance. He so loved his family and friends. He loved golfing, especially with his sons and his yearly May golf outing with sons and family friends. He looked forward to his morning golf with his buddies, Monday night golfing league and golfing while wintering in Fl. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 13, 11:00 a.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 East Grand River Avenue, East Lansing, with visitation one hour prior to the service. To honor his memory we invite you to wear golf attire to the service.
