She was married 66 years to Gordon E. Scarlett before his death in November 2022. Together they raised 6 children. Virginia is survived by her children, Todd (Kim), Sheri, John and Jim. She was blessed with 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Virginia was preceded in death by her children, Paul and Linda; and siblings, Harold Miller, Robert Miller, Joan Mulder and Richard "Dick" Miller.
Virginia was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She enjoyed spending summers in Indian River, Michigan and winters in Marco Island, Florida.
The family will gather for a graveside service for Virginia at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Lansing.
