

Wendy Budzynski, age 58, passed away in her sleep on February 19, 2016. She was born on July 23, 1957 in Lansing, Michigan. She was the daughter of Delphin “Bud” and Margaret “Jo” Budzynski of Haslett.
Wendy attended Haslett Public Schools and graduated in 1975 and then attended Michigan State University and graduated in 1980 with an Interior Design Degree. Wendy was employed by a private interior design company for several years. She also worked with her father “Bud” on numerous projects, as he was a very talented Architect, and they made a good team.
In 1989 Amy and Wendy moved to Chicago and pursued careers with the Archdiocese of Chicago. Wendy enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, golf, her family and friends. A couple years following Amy’s stroke they moved to Ohio and then in August of 2015 they relocated back to Michigan because of health issues so they could be closer to family and friends.
Wendy is preceded in death by her mother, Jo, (2008), father, Bud, (1992), and brother, Gary, (1996). Surviving are her siblings; Amy (twin sister), older brother Stan and younger brother Randy (Debbie) Budzynski, Four nieces and nephews: Brad (Nicole) Budzynski, Amber (Curtis) Canfield, Brooke Budzynski, Justin Budzynski (and their mother Cindy Zimmerman) as well as four great nieces and nephews: Dustin, Brenna, Dallas and Steven.
There will be no visitation or memorial service at this time however a remembrance gathering will be planned in the spring for close family and friends.
