Dr. Willard John Hershey, DDS, born August 19, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan, passed away January 16, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard Hershey and June Agnes Bush. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Dee; siblings Bob (Jo) Hershey and Carrie (Frank) Wilson; children: Laurie Brady, Susie (Marko) Komarynsky, Kathryn (Ken) Dirkin, and Jodi Hershey; grandchildren Max (Glorija) Sweet, Emma Brady, Gavin Brady, CJ (Hope) Komarynsky, Trevor (Taylor) Komarynsky, Jared Komarynsky, Kaitlyn Dirkin, Kole Dirkin, Parker Cloutier, and Tyler Cloutier; and one great-grandchild: Caden Komarynsky. Willard married his wife, Dee, on June 20, 1964, and was known for his practical jokes and loved to make people smile. He was a well respected Endodontist in the Lansing area for many years and was fond of golf and fishing, but his true love was his family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Capital Area Humane Society (cahs-lansing.org). A small family service will be held at a later date.
