William A. Turpin Sr.

William Anthony “Bill” Turpin was born on April 19, 1966, the son of the late David and Angela Turpin, and passed away on March 30, 2016 at the age of 49. Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Kathie Turpin. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Tammi; sons, William Anthony (Rachel) Turpin Jr., Austen Brace, Cesar (Sylvana) Ruiz, Salvador DeLaGarza; daughters, Kiersten Brace, Dominica DeLaGarza; goddaughter, Brittney Robinson; thirteen grandchildren; brothers, David Richard (Inge) Turpin III, Joseph (Patricia) Turpin, Dennis (Val) Turpin; sisters, Debbie (Lloyd) Getzen, Patty (Ernie) McGill, Mary (Nadim) Salim; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; close friend Brad Holstad, Kevin Lee and many other dear friends. Anyone who knew Bill knows he will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Fraternal Order of Eagles, 1111 N. Cedar St., Mason, MI 48854. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Camp Bil-O-Wood, PO Box 72, Redding CT 06876 in memory of William Anthony Turpin Sr. The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, East Lansing Chapel.
