Willie Lloyd "Red" Tucker

East Lansing

Born May 16, 1931 in Gleason, Tennessee to Willie and Mary F. Tucker, passed away December 6, 2012 at the age of 81. Willie was Owner Operator of Tucker’s Drywall for many years. He was a member of Lake Lansing Baptist Church for 45 years. Willie enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family at their home on Jensen Lake in Mecosta

County. Many AWANA children from his church were able to be join him up north at the lake.

Willie is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lottie M. Tucker; two daughters, Marcia Tucker and Carlya (Kirk) Piccott; one son, Douglas; two sisters, Eleanor (Charles) Coker and Carol Dycus; and one brother, Terry (Jimmie) Tucker.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at Lake Lansing Baptist Church, 5960 N. Okemos Rd., East Lansing, MI 48823. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 7, 2012 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 E. Grand River Ave., East Lansing, MI 48823. The family will also receive friends one hour prior ro the service at the church.
