Alta Grace Studyvin Boucher

Eureka – Alta Grace Boucher, 94, of Eureka, Illinois, formally of East Peoria, IL passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Eureka Apostolic Christian Home. She was born May 10, 1920 in Dillon Township, IL to Artie and Gertrude (Morris) Studyvin. She married Homer Boucher on July 27, 1946.

Alta was a graduate of Dickerson Business College. She retired from the United States District Court as a Financial Deputy in 1981 and had previously worked for Caterpillar for 10 years.

Her hobbies included gardening, walking, golfing, and she had a great love of animals.

Surviving are her nieces, nephews, caregiver and special friends Marvin “Johnny” Mayberry and Teresa Gimbert, and many friends. Alta was preceded in death by her parents, husband, her brother John Studyvin, and two sisters; Margaret Glass and Frances Studyvin.
