Arch Kenneth Roach

He was born September 9, 1931 in Lenoir City, TN to Arch and Letha (Kidwell) Roach. Arch married Edith B. Remmert on July 12, 1954 in Rossville, GA. She preceded him in death in 2007. Also preceding him in death was his parents, two brothers, Clifford and Raymond, one sister Virginia Mills.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his two daughters. C.G. “Cynthia” (Allen) Witherell and Lisa (Barry) Peckenpaugh both of Washington, five grandchildren, Marika (John) Mardis of Chillicothe; Joshua (Jessica) Schuck of Florence, MO; Nicole (Jim) Rynearson of East Peoria, Kenneth (Naomi) Peckenpaugh and Brandon Peckenpaugh both of Washington and eleven great-grandchildren.

Arch served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a Munitions Instructor at West Point. He worked as a Warehouse Superintendent for Nestle until retiring in in 1994. He and Edie spent many years in youth and Evangelical Ministries.

A visitation will be Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 6 to 8 pm at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. A private service will be held with burial at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Don Rhode will officiate.
