Bennie W. Rentsch Jr.

Born March 28, 1945 in Peoria to Bennie W. and Edna M. (Doty) Rentsch Sr. He married Frances “Mimi” Shew in Peoria on Aug. 2, 1962. She preceded him in death on Feb. 21, 2010. He was also preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Larry and Richard.

Surviving are his daughter, Lori (Kerry) Bartley of East Peoria; son, Richard of East Peoria; three grandchildren, Kristopher, Amber, and Benjamin; great grandson, Matthew; two brothers, Terry and Robert; and sister, Pamela.

Bennie worked as a truck driver and was a member of the Teamsters. He was of the Catholic faith. He loved to fish and play golf, but his main passion in life was his family and he will be dearly missed by all.

Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2011 at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at Roberts Cemetery in Morton.
