Beverly A. White

She was born Feb. 11, 1935 in Peoria to Leonard F. and Helen (Faul) McKay. She married Leland White, Jr. Feb. 18, 1952 in Galesburg. He passed away May 27, 2007 in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Barb Davis.

Survivors include two daughters: Peggy Smith of Morton, Linda (Jeff) Young of Marquette Heights, three sons; Lee White of Peoria, Larry (Sue) White of Kenosha, Wisconsin, Roger White of East Peoria, eight grandchildren: Jeremy, Matt, Brian, Derek, Nick, Chris, Melanie, Jarrod, four great-grandchildren, and one sister, Betty McKay of Peoria.

Beverly was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a homemaker and worked at the Twisty Treat in East Peoria for fifteen years retiring in 2005.

She was of the Catholic Faith.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be Monday Nov. 15, 2010 at 5 p.m. at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. A visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Monday at the funeral home.
