

East Peoria – Carl J. Fuller, 87, of Eureka, formerly of East Peoria, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at 1:23 p.m. at The Loft in Eureka. He was born on June 23, 1932 in Dongola, IL, a son of Roy V. and Annabelle (Rendleman) Fuller. He married Patricia Smith and she survives.
Carl is also survived by two sons, Rick (Sherri) Fuller of Roanoke and Allen (Stacy) Fuller of Pekin; 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; two brothers, Earl (Patricia) Fuller of East Peoria and Bill (Pat) Fuller of Mackinaw; and one sister, Doris Adams of Millstadt. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael; granddaughter, Tara Jo Fuller; three brothers, Ronald, Roy, and Kenneth; and one sister, Mary Ann.
Carl served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked for Caterpillar, Inc. as a technical analyst for over 30 years, retiring in 1982. He was a member of River Valley Antique Association and a lifetime member of the East Peoria VFW Post #2078.
Carl’s graveside service will be private at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria with full military honors. Memorials may be made to The Loft Rehabilitation and Nursing in Eureka.
