Charlotte Elaine Hill

Charlotte Elaine Hill, 94, of East Peoria, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Washington Senior Living. Born on April 13, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Helen (Johnson) Ball. In 1986, she married Jack H. Hill. He preceded her in death on March 21, 2018.

Survivors include four children, Larry Keith (Phyllis) Fosdyck, Randy (Rebecca) Fosdyck, Wendy McCoy, and Barry Porter; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; a sister, Eleanor Hahn; and two sisters-in-law, Becky Ball and Deanna Ball. Aside from her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by seven siblings.

Charlotte was an active member of First Baptist Church of East Peoria, where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was strong in her Christian faith. She had a love for life and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered fondly by all those who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a beacon of love and laughter.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Remmert Funeral Home, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m Interment will follow at Swan Lake Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to First Baptist Church of East Peoria, 600 E Washington Street, East Peoria, IL 61611, in memory of Charlotte.
