Chrissie Slusher-Philips

She was born on November 7, 1977 in Peoria, IL.

Surviving are her parents, Penny Slusher (Denise Baker) of Creve Coeur and Bill (Sue) Slusher of Peoria; sons, David Cramer of Bloomington, Tyler Lappin of Creve Coeur and Dylan Lamarr of East Peoria; one grandson, David Cramer; brother, Joe (Kristina) Slusher; niece, Kylee Slusher; step-sister, Lisa Mura; and step-brother, Dale Mura.

Chrissie was well known to the customers at BG’s Auto Gas in Spring Bay where she worked as a fuel attendant. Previously, as a certified CNA, she worked in the home healthcare field. Chrissie was co-founder of FLAG (Freedom Loving American Guardians) and a CASA advocate.

She was a member of IGNITE Church in Peoria, tremendous fan of Star Wars and was loved by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be announced later in 2024. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria.

Memorials are suggested to the National Kidney Foundation.
