

He was born July 9, 1976 in Peoria to Tammy (Cunefare) Bobinski. Christopher was raised by his mother and step-father, William Curtis, Sr.
Survivors include his mother, Tammy Curtis of Peoria, two step-brothers: William, Jr, Chris, two step-sisters: Dolly, Jewell, one aunt, Pamela Cunefare of Creve Coeur, two uncles: Terry (Ruby) Cunefare of Groveland, Dan (Bernice) Cunefare of Charlotte, N.C., several cousins, nieces, nephews, and a good friend, Marty (Mills) Mendoza of East Peoria.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, William Curtis, Sr., and his maternal grandparents, Gene and Anne Cunefare.
Chris was raised in East Peoria. He attended the area schools. He loved to ride motorcycles, fishing, mushroom hunting, bicycle riding, drawing, painting, and repairing small engines. He enjoyed spending time in his garden and making his own fertierlizer. His livelihood was auto repair, roofing, siding, and odd jobs. He worked for several years as a Meat Cutter for Golden Corral.
Chris will be remembered for being very handy and for his wonderful sense of humor.
Funeral services will be Friday July 11, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
