Clarise Perry

Born October 22, 1935 in Beecher City, IL to Henry and Eva (Logue) Grames; she married William “Bill” Perry on November 1, 1953 in St. Elmo, IL. Bill preceded her in death on February 14, 2009 in East Peoria.

Also preceding in death were her parents and her son, Ernest Perry whom was the first child in the Peoria area to represent the former March of Dimes, now Easter Seals.

Surviving are her son, Scott Perry (Sharon Davidson) of East Peoria; daughter-in-law, Connie Perry of Washington, IL; and granddaughters, Marissa Perry of Washington and Samantha Perry of Normal, IL.

Clarise loved her family and enjoyed cooking. Her pastimes included embroidery, cross stitch, crochet and collecting bells.

She was a member of the Richland Baptist Church in East Peoria.

Clarise will be laid to rest in Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Beecher City, IL with her husband. Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria provided care for the family.
