David Lee Blumenstock, 78, of East Peoria, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. Born in Peoria, on August 6, 1947, he was the son of the late Richard and Catherine (Marsh) Blumenstock. David served in the US Army during Vietnam and was honorably discharged. On September 21, 1970, he married Janice Newell.
Surviving David is his wife, Jan Blumenstock; two sons, Brad (Heather) Blumenstock and Erik (Natasha) Blumenstock; granddaughter, Haley Blumenstock; and a brother, Russell (Sharon) Blumenstock.
David worked at Caterpillar for over 30 years. He was a member of UAW Local 974.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Interment will take place privately at Fondulac Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Condolences and memories may be shared through RemmertFuneralHome.com
