

David A. Caho, age 61, of East Peoria, passed away Tuesday Nov. 12, 2013 at 3:05 p.m. at the Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. David battled with a liver disorder for many years, ending with a short fight with liver cancer.
He was born Aug. 12, 1952 in Peoria to LeRoy and Eileen (Fisher) Caho. He married Debi Gardner July 12, 1975 in Morton. She survives along with David’s mother of Mackinaw, three children: Dale (Beth) Caho of New Whiteland, IN, Darrin Caho of East Peoria, Darlene (Benjamin) Esken of East Peoria, four grandchildren: Kaylin Younce, Dakota Caho, Bryce Caho, Brylee Caho-Esken, and two sisters: Judy Rieger of Morton, and Nancy (Rick) Pierson of Naperville.
He was preceded in death by his father.
David was a Maintenance Pipefitter at Caterpillar, Inc. for 38 years retiring in 2009. He was a member of the New Castle Bible Church in Mackinaw.
Funeral services will be Saturday Nov. 16, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the New Castle Bible Church in Mackinaw. Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. Additional visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Saturday at the church.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
