Donna Jean (Bohm) Hutton, 79, of East Peoria, IL, passed peacefully, in her home, surrounded by her family on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at 1:53 p.m. Donna was born June 23, 1936 in Farmington, IL to Harry E. & Carrie E. (Schoonover) Bohm. She married the love of her life, Max R. Hutton on June 30, 1956 at Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria, IL. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, her parents and three brothers, Thomas Bohm, Robert Bohm & Roger Bohm. She leaves to cherish her memory, two children, Stephen Hutton & Barbara Floyd
both of East Peoria, IL, and three grandchildren, Megan Hutton of Berkley, MI, Coby Floyd of Morton, IL and Scott Floyd of East Peoria, IL. She also leaves behind four sisters, Sharon (Bill) Neff, Carole (Chuck) White, Brenda (Albert) Jones & Vicki (Charlie) Gauwitz, and two brothers-in-law, Rev. Gary (Marilyn) Hutton and Joe (Linda) Hutton. Donna was a 1954 graduate of Manual High School in Peoria, IL. She worked tirelessly for many years in the home where she did an exemplary job of raising her family and spreading the Gospel to all who crossed her path. She later worked at and retired from Ruppman Marketing Technologies in 1994 to devote all of her time to loving her family, babysitting her grandchildren and staying up-to-date on the latest political news being broadcasted on Fox News. Her legacy will be that she was a shining example of God's Love and Mercy which shined from her like a beacon. She never left home without a smile upon her face, love in her heart and her hair done just perfectly. She genuinely loved and prayed for all who had the pleasure of knowing her and saw only the good and positive in everyone. Her wisdom, guidance, compassion and love will be greatly missed by all. She will also be remembered for her many delicious recipes and her famous bible classes that she conducted in her home for all of the children in her family and the neighborhood kids. We wish to thank the Rev. Ralph Beeler Jr. for the many years that he taught Bible Doctrine to Donna and her family at Scripture Studies Church in Peoria.
