Edward Lewis

He was born August 5, 1923 in Chicago, IL to Edward S. and Marian (Scott) Lewis. He married Lois A. Stein on November 23, 1950 in Peoria. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving is his wife Lois of East Peoria, One son, Steven (Mary) Lewis of Germantown Hills, IL and one daughter, Ann (Tom) Skaggs of Morton, IL. Also surviving are four grandsons and one great-granddaughter.

Ed served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1946. He received a Bachelor’s Degree from Bradley University and worked for A.E. Lucas and Sons for many years before retiring.

He was a member of the Shrine Consistory, Temple Lodge 46 and the Morton American Legion Post #318.

Cremation rites will be accorded and a private graveside service will be held at a later date.
