Erma June Riley Land

Erma June Land, 87, of East Peoria, Illinois passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Rosewood Care Center in East Peoria, Illinois. She was born August 3, 1927 in Peoria, to John W. Riley, Sr. and Minnie Bell Collins. Erma married Robert Lee Land on June 20, 1953 in Peoria.

Surviving is her husband Robert Lee Land of East Peoria, IL; son Timothy (Penny) Land of Morton, IL; granddaughter Rachel Land of Morton, IL; sister-in-law Shirley Riley of Florida; and brother-in-law Omer (Donna) Land of Peoria, IL. Erma was preceded in death by her parents and her brother John “Jack” Riley, Jr.

Erma was member of Highview Church of God in East Peoria. Her faith was an inspiration to others.

Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Highview Church of God in Washington. Rev. Ed Beasley will officiate. Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery, East Peoria. Memorials may be made to the church. Online tributes and condolences may be made at www.RemmertFuneralHome.com
