Esther M. Perry

Brimfield – Esther M. Perry, 90, of Brimfield, IL passed away Monday, April 11, 2016 at Heights Health Care in Peoria Heights, IL. She was born October 31, 1925 in East Peoria, IL to Lawrence and Nona (Snyder) Cheney. Esther married Robert L. Perry on September 26, 1942 in Peoria, IL. Robert preceded her in death on April 2, 2004.

Surviving is her sister Nona Sollenberger of Brimfield, IL, several nieces and nephews. Esther was also preceded in death by her infant daughter Bobette Perry, six brothers, and three sisters.

Esther worked for Lee Mayhall Grocery and Meats for eighteen years. Her hobbies included crocheting, gardening, camping, and spending time with her dogs and cat. Esther was a member of Charter Oak Church in Peoria and Lake Little John in Victoria.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A graveside service will be held at 1 pm Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria. Memorials may be made to the Brimfield Public Library. Remmert Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
