

She lived her entire childhood and young adult life in Edison Park, IL. Faye attended Moody Bible Institute and worked for an accounting firm until she was married. Faye’s true joy was her family. She married a young pastor, George Estel Hines on August 16, 1945. They were married 74 years. Together they spread the gospel of Jesus as missionaries to China and served in several states. Faye loved her four children and was so proud of her grandchildren. Anyone who knew Faye was blessed by her friendship and genuine love.
Faye was preceded in death by her spouse; parents; brother; and a daughter-in-law.
She is survived by three sons, Gary (Betty) Hines of Shawnee, KS, Ronald Hines (and the late Lorna)of Sun City, FL, and Paul (Claudia) Hines of The Villages, FL; one daughter, Sherrie (Brad) Parnham of Morton; She is also survived by six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Faye’s funeral service will be at 4:30 pm Sunday, April 10, 2022 at CrossPoint Church in East Peoria. Pastors Don Johnston and Mark Friday will officiate. Her visitation will be from 2:30 to 4:30 pm also on Sunday at her church. Interment will be in Hirstein Cemetery in rural Morton. Arrangements have been entrusted to Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria.
