Fredrick Noel "Red" Bodine

Fredrick was born on September 16, 1927 in Missouri. He married Alice Blumenstock in 1950 and she preceded him in death in 1987. Also preceding him in death are three sons, William, James and Russell; two grandchildren; his parents and 12 siblings.

Surviving are his children, “Bo” (Judy) Bodine of East Peoria, IL, Mary (Larry) Dooley of Oquawka, IL and Alice (Richard) Dyer of North Pekin, IL; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Betty Allison of Kansas.

Fredrick was an independent welder. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a family man and enjoyed spending time with his family. Fredrick was also an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.

Services will be held on Friday, October 9, 2015 at 11am at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria with visitation held one hour prior to the service. Msgr. Thomas Mack from Immaculate Conception Church in Monmouth will be officiating. Burial will be at resurrection Cemetery in Peoria. Memorials may be made to Immaculate Conception Church in Monmouth.
