

Born May 18, 1943 in Peoria to Fred and Betty (Wagner) Humphrey. He married Marilyn Landen in Peoria on Dec. 9, 1965. She survives.
Also surviving are his daughter, Cynthia Humphrey of Roanoke; brother, Howard (Barbara) Humphrey of Morton; sister, Gloria Davis of Washington; and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, William Robert Humphrey.
Harold was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving as a cook and a baker from 1965 to 1967.
Harold was the owner and operator of the former Mr. Quick and Harold’s Hamburgers in Sunnyland, and also operated Harold’s Computer Sales and Service.
Harold was an E.M.T. with the Northern Tazewell Fire and Rescue from 1980 to 1995. He was one of the founding board members and past president of the Sunnyland Business Association. Past board member of the East Peoria Chamber of Commerce. Active member and past president of E.P. Access Channel 22. Former member and past president of the River Valley Drifters, and the River City Street Rod car clubs. Harold enjoyed his year’s street rodding and loved to travel.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19 at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
