She was born Oct. 23, 1922 in Glasford to Marco and Eugenia (Rubin) Maronses. They preceded her in death along with two sisters and two brothers.
Survivors include one son, Jess “Rick” Young of East Peoria, one daughter, Patti Jo (Darryl) Daineis of Wild Wood, FL, four grandchildren: Jason, Jesse, Logan, Jared, and two great-grandchildren: Bryson and Kaleb.
Helen worked at Caterpillar, Inc. for 23 years as a Secretary. She enjoyed ballroom dancing and singing. She also loved animals especially birds.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery at a later date. Remmert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
