I am one lucky girl… in life I had the 2 most wonderful loving and best grandma’s in the world! We all know we aren’t here on earth forever but it’s doesn’t make it any easier when you have to say goodbye! Thank you for the best summers, your words of encouragement in life and your unconditional love! I’m so glad Aisley got to spend time with her great grandma and visit throughout the years! You have definitely left many words of wisdom and volumes of knowledge that I will cherish forever! I miss our weekly texts & pictures we shared! I love you Grandma and we miss you more than you know!

I was blessed to be the son of Jacqueline Rae Rhoades.  Although, I will miss her tremendously, I will forever celebrate her life, admire her accomplishments, and remember her encouraging words. 

Among her many achievements, she owned a real estate company in Peoria, Il. In 1984, she relocated to Texas where she continued her success in real estate, and received Realtor of the Year her first two consecutive years in the San Antonio, Texas market. 
She also spent three years living and working in Manhattan, NY.

In her spare time, she enjoyed painting beautiful pictures and gifting them to loved ones. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals and hosting friend and family gatherings. She also had the opportunity to travel throughout Europe. 

Upon retiring, she relocated to Charlotte, NC  to be close to my family.  My family and I feel  very fortunate for the amount of time we spent together in Texas and NC.

My mother was a great source of wisdom, advice and encouragement as I navigated through life. She taught me to believe in God, to believe in myself and the importance of family. 

I am forever grateful to my mother who demonstrated years of unconditional love as a mother in-law to my wife, Marissa; a grandmother to our children, 
Alisha (Damon), Josh and Dusty (Kressie); 
and a great grandmother to my grandchildren, Lucas, Gracie, Roeman, Raegan, Riley, Breckston and Adalynn. 
Her memory will live forever in our hearts. 



Chris, Bec, Rick and family I'm  so sorry to hear of your mom's passing.  My thoughts and prayers are with each of you as you mourn her loss.  I always enjoyed being around your home and the welcomed feelings I received by your family.  Miss you all...much love, Deb Morris

I was fortunate to know Jackie most of my life. Rick and I were best friends and I spent many days at her home. She welcomed me there as part of the family. She was a strong, lively, caring person with a great laugh and a fiery personality to match her red hair. She gave me some good advice over the years and looked after me as a parent would. She was also very kind and welcoming to my wife and children. I have many fond memories of Jackie. Trish, Sam, Lucas and I send our deepest condolences to Becky, Rick, Chris, Lisa, Todd, Jackie’s grandchildren and all of her family and friends.
