Janette Georgia Walker

She was born June 23, 1918 in Peoria, IL to August and Pearl (Lock) Demmin. She married Herbert Walker on March 3, 1936 in Peoria and he preceded her in death on January 23, 2010. Also preceding her in death were her parents, six sisters, one brothers, and four grandsons.

Surviving are her four children, Janice Becker (Jim) Reibel of East Peoria, Elaine Walker of Peoria, Judith Murray of Bartonville and Duane Walker of Melbourne Village, FL., eight grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren.

Janette was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and enjoyed word puzzles, cooking and care for her family.

A private family service will be held and burial will follow at Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria. Remmert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
