Jone C. Barrett, 83, of East Peoria, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Snyder Village Assisted Living. Born in Springfield, on November 29, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Jay and Laurene (Alexander) Taylor. On February 7, 1959, she married Jon Barrett. Of East Peoria, he survives.
Further surviving Jone are three daughters, Terri (Michael) Kelly, Christy Dillard, and Susan Barrett; four grandchildren, Tricia, Tony, Jamie, and Cody; and four great-grandchildren.
Jone was a homemaker who dedicated her life to raising her family. She enjoyed spending time with her family and attending all of the events the children participated in. Jone played piano at United Methodist Church in Havana for many years.
