

Born Sept. 13, 1942 in Peoria to Walter and Grace (Petersen) Woodward. Judy was raised by her grandparents, David J. and Margretha Woodward. She married Galen Williams in Springfield, IL on Aug. 5, 1963. He survives.
Also surviving are her daughter, Deanne (Manuel “Curley”) Crawford of Delavan; son, David “Butch” Williams of East Peoria; step-daughter, Karen (Mike) Montegna of Oregon; brother, John Greiner of East Peoria; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and special friends, Bonnilyn, Shari, and the “Pool Puppies”. Judy was preceded in death by her step-son, Kenneth Williams in May of 2011.
Judy worked at Caterpillar Inc. before retiring. Judy’s family would like to send a special thank you to the caring staff at Kindred I.C.U.
Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 2, 2011 at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria with Pastor Rick Kerr officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Grace United Methodist Church at 622 S. Clinton St. in Bloomington, IL 61701, or to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the Cure.
