Kathryne L. Taylor

She was born April 13, 1941 in Peoria to Leo and Anna (Winner) Peckenpaugh. She married Arthur “Art” Taylor Nov. 18, 1960 in East Peoria. He passed away April 30, 2000 in Pekin. She was also preceded in death by one infant daughter, Renita Taylor, and three sisters: Judy Hall, Barb Bowers, and Pat Johnson.

Survivors include four daughters: Roxann (Will) Hultquist of Delavan, Carol (Keith) Auvil of Peoria, Christine (Peter) Turner of Peoria, Nancy Taylor of Washington, one son, John (Michelle) Taylor of Lewistown, one sister, Shirley Taghan of East Peoria, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Kay was a waitress most of her life retiring in 1999. She was a member of Riverside Community Church in Peoria. Kay’s greatest desire was to see her family serve the Lord.

Funeral services will be Monday Nov. 19, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Riverside Community Church in Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Monday at the church. Remmert funeral Home in Peoria is in charge of arrangements.

Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
