Mark "Tim" Timothy Hearne

He was born March 11, 1956, to Patrick and Mary (Wagoner) Hearne in Highland, IL. He married Christine Hammer on August 30, 1987, in Jacksonville, Florida. She survives.

Tim is also survived by his children, Mike (Crystal) Hearne of Novi, MI; Kelly (Mark) Wyman of Champaign, IL; and Robert “Bobby” Hearne of Washington, IL; three grandchildren, Robyn Hearne, Lennon Hearne and Edith “Edi” Wyman; three sisters, Christie (Randy) Heinz of Bellevue, IL; Leta (Roger) Williams of East Peoria, IL; and Jane (Gene) Roehl of Troy, IL; sister-in-law, Candy Conn of Waynesboro, PA; brothers-in-law, William “Bill” Hammer of Harwood Heights, IL; and Franklin (Kelli) Hammer II Metamora, IL; nieces, Kristina Conn, of Waynesboro, PA; Katie and Ellie Hammer of Metamora, IL; Jennifer Doyal, Jessica Ohlendorf and Joanna Payne of St Louis, MO; nephews, Justin Conn of Waynesboro, PA and Corwin Hammer of Metamora, IL; two cousins, Kay (Mark) Mosley and Kathy Flemming both of St. Louis, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, David Hearne.

He will be remembered by those who loved him by his kind smile, helping hand, and hearty laugh. What Tim loved more than anything was raising and supporting his family. He always took time to appreciate the small moments that make life truly wonderful.

And his passing reminds us of what is truly important in life whether that be fishing with his children and grandchildren, helping and teaching his kids how to fix just about anything or build something of quality from little more than imagination. All Tim cared about was making time and memories for the ones he loved and pouring love and kindness into the world around him.

A celebration of life will be held for Tim on Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 5 – 7:00 p.m. at Remmert Funeral Home, East Peoria.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Tim’s name to St. Jude Midwest Affiliate.
