Mary Mae Waddle Vore

Born January 5, 1921 in Fairland, Oklahoma to Tom H. and Stella L. (Baker) Waddle, she married Glenn E. Vore on March 23, 1938 in Claremore, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death.

Surviving are: sons, Donald R. (Sylvia) Vore, of East Peoria, Illinois and Jerry D. Vore of St. Cloud, Florida; daughter, Glynlen (John) Mateika of LaSalle, Illinois; brother, Tom (Carol) Waddle of Toluca, Illinois; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded by three brothers, four sisters, a grandson and a granddaughter.

Mary was a machine printer at Foster & Gallagher, retiring in 1980. She was a member of the Lions Club, Royal Neighbors, Young at Heart Club, and Richland Southern Baptist Church.

Visitation will be at Remmert Funeral Home Tuesday January 21, 2014 from 4 to 6 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday January 22, 2014 at 10:00 am at Richland Southern Baptist Church in East Peoria with additional visitation one hour before services. Pastor Jeremy Davis will officiate, with interment in Glendale Memorial Gardens, Pekin.
